We stayed in the pub more than once and love the atmosphere, warm and welcoming . Food is home made and the restaurant has a warm and welcoming feel but with a little more to offer. We recommend it to stay or just to eat a home cooked meal.
Need a Place to stay? Our Advice is not to pass up this Jewel.We've stayed in B&Bs and Inns all over the UK..its the only way to get a good taste of the country. Surfice to say that The Labouring Man is way up there on our list of places we'd return to at the drop of a hat.
Walk in -you get a great comfortable welcoming bar, also with a quaint seating area for meals which in the evening time are delightful. same for kids meals too. The rooms are spotless and look like they had all been recently refurbished...either way the owners are clearly taking great pride in their place. Very pretty views from the south facing back of the Inn. Rest assured the culinary skills are not limited to the evening meals ...the breakfasts are wonderful...a great set up for the day. To top it off, Phil and his staff were fantastic. They do anything you ask to make sure your stay is a graet one .
Smile when you book your stay with them , you've just made a great choice.
Our family stayed with you for 2 nights a week ago. Rooms spotless, service great, food excellent especially breakfast. Great pub - few like this left. Hope to see you again.

We have used The Labouring Man for the past two weekends and recieved a positive reception both times. The food is second to none and the service is to match . We'll be back in the future
